Director steps down from the live-action take...
Mark Romanek is no longer set to direct Walt Disney Pictures' upcoming live-action version of Cinderella. Deadline reports that Romanek left due to creative differences, with Romanek's take reportedly being darker than what Disney wanted.
The film was written by Chris Weitz and has Cate Blanchett attached to the role of the evil stepmother. The search is now underway for a new director.
