He'll have more to do...
Jeremy Renner spoke with MTV News about The Avengers 2, which he says will give Hawkeye more opportunities than the first film did. He added that he has no hard feelings towards Joss Whedon for what he previously said was a disappointing story arc for the character in the first film.
Renner said: "It's what he was able to do with the first one. Now, there's more opportunities to explore the characters a little more, I think, for everybody. I think that's exciting."
He also said that he wouldn't be able to come up with a story himself. He added: "I'd screw things all up. We meet in the middle and we play kick the can."
Renner also revealed if he will be back for another Mission: Impossible movie now that director Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher) is involved. He said: "I haven't talked to him in a little minute, since his movie came out, 'Reacher.' Which I still need to go see. I haven't talked to Chris in a minute. But if he asked me to be a part of it, I'd love to do it again."
