[Movies] Jurassic Park 3D To Get One Week IMAX Run

Coming Soon reports that the 3D version of Jurassic Park which is released on April 5, will also get a one-week IMAX 3D run. It's only one week because Universal's Oblivion (starring Tom Cruise) opens a week later in the format on April 12. Universal and IMAX Corporation made the announcement today.
The film stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Samuel L. Jackson and Richard Attenborough. It was based on the novel by Michael Crichton and is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Gerald R. Molen.
President of Distribution at Universal Pictures, Nikki Rocco, said: "Jurassic Park is the quintessential film for fans to experience in IMAX 3D. Jurassic Park was groundbreaking when it was originally released, and The IMAX 3D ExperienceŽ will allow today's audiences to become fully immersed in one of the most breathtaking epics Universal has ever released."
