[Gossip] Lindsay Lohan Fires Her Longtime Attorney

And she's already trying to get her back...
UPDATE: Lindsay Lohan is reportedly desperate to get her now-former lawyer Shawn Holley back. As previously reported, Holley got a letter from Lindsay's New York City lawyer Mark Heller informing her that her services weren't needed anymore. However, TMZ reports that Lindsay is telling friends that she didn't authorize Heller to fire her.
Sources close to Heller, on the other hand, say that Lindsay signed the letter. Holley was fired just before she was to meet with a judge and prosecutor to strike a plea bargain deal. Lindsay reportedly wants Holley back and thinks of her as a "second mother." She is also saying that she knows how good Holley is in court and would never drop her the day before she is scheduled to go to court. There is a hearing tomorrow to see if Lindsay violated her probation when she allegedly lied to police about her car accident. Lindsay says she told Heller to send another letter asking Holley to come back.
ORIGINAL: Lindsay Lohan has fired the lawyer who kept her out of jail several times in favor of a new one. TMZ reports that Lindsay has given Shawn Holley, who represented Lindsay in her jewelry theft and DUI cases, the boot and instead is going with Mark Heller, who was (and still is) representing her in her assault case in New York City.
Heller sent Holley a letter, saying that he would be representing Lindsay in all her criminal cases. Holley had been handling the charges of lying to police stemming form a car accident over last summer while filming Liz & Dick and in fact was on her way to the courtroom to try and negotiate a settlement on that case when she received the letter.
Heller has been called a "menace to the public" by several New York lawyers; he was suspended from practicing law for five years back in 1994.
