Remake of the 1976 classic horror flick...
ShockTillYoudrop reports that Alfonso Gomez-Rejon is now in talks to direct a remake of the 1976 horror film The Town That Dreaded Sundown with Ryan Murphy and Jason Blum producing.
The original was directed by Charles B. Pierce and is loosely based on a true story. The movie followed the Texarkana residents who were terrorized by the "Phantom Killer" in the late 1940's.
Gomez-Rejon previously directed episodes of American Horror Story and he also served as a second unit director for Argo.
