[Movies] Toy Company Discontinues Django Unchained Action Figures

TMZ reports that the Django Unchained action figures have been discontinued after several African-American advocacy groups like Al Sharpton's National Action Network and Project Islamic Hope called for a boycott.
After the groups spoke out, The Weinstein Company, who produced the film, contacted the toy company and told them to discontinue the product. The toy company agreed because they never meant to offend anyone, so they ended production. Only 1,000 action figures were released before production ended.
TMZ spoke with Christophl Waltz earlier this week in Hollywood and it seems he already knew what would happen to the toys.
