Lindsay Lohan has turned down a proposed plea deal that would see her avoid jail time on charges of lying to police. TMZ reports that Lohan was offered a plea deal where Lohan would plead no contest to the charges, which stem from her car accident over last summer, and agree to six months of lockdown rehab without jail. However, Lohan is said to be completely uninterested in the deal because she doesn't believe she did anything wrong and won't plead to a crime she didn't commit.
Law enforcement sources say that the case is very strong against Lohan, as there is "overwhelming evidence" she was the driver of the car despite her saying that she was the passenger. If Lohan is found guilty she could get up to nineteen months in jail, plus an additional 245 days due to her probation in the jewelry theft case being violated.
