Steve Coogan's latest...
Coming Soon reports that the North American rights for Steve Coogan and Michael Winterbottom's fourth film The Look of Love have been picked up by IFC Films. The film is based on the life of London club owner and porn publisher Paul Raymond.
Coogan previously starred in Winterbottom's 24 Hour Party People about Factory Records owner Tony Wilson. He then worked with Winterbottom and Rob Brydon on Tristram Shandy: A Cock and Bull Story and 2011's The Trip.
This will be Winterbottom's fourth film in a row distributed by IFC Films after The Killer Inside Me, The Trip and Trishna. He also finished his five-year dramatic project Everyday, which premiered at the Telluride and Toronto Film Festivals last year. It opened in the UK on Friday but hasn't been picked up for North American distribution.
