Don Jon's Addiction sells at Sundance...
Relativity Media has acquired the first directorial effort by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. CS.net reports that the studio has bought the rights for Don Jon's Addiction for $4 million, with plans to give it a wide release with a marketing commitment of $25 million.
The film stars Gordon-Levitt (who also wrote), Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, Rob Brown, Tony Danza and Glenne Headly and is about a ladies man with an addiction to adult films (Gordon-Levitt) who attempts to find love and a more satisfying sex life. The film has a fair amount of graphic nudity and sex, with some concerns it may not be able to cut down enough to avoid an NC-17 rating.
