Variety reports that Ray Liotta, who played a gate guard in 1999's Muppets From Space has joined the cast of Disney's sequel to The Muppets. James Bobin will direct from a script he co-wrote with Nicholas Stoller.
Other stars include Tina Fey as a Russian prison guard, Ty Burrell as a lazy Interpol inspector and Ricky Gervais. It's unknown what Liotta's role will be. David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman will produce for Mandeville and production begins in London this month.
