[TV] NBC Orders Six New Pilots, Three Comedies and Three Dramas
Posted by Larry Csonka on 01.23.2013

- NBC has ordered six new pilots, three comedies and three dramas; here are their descriptions…

Rand Ravich (Drama):. The show centers on an idealistic secret service agent who, on his first day on the job, has to deal with an international crisis. Morality and legality will come into play as he attempts to search for the truth.

The Sixth Gun (Drama): Based on a graphic novel and follows the story of six mythical and powerful guns that drift around the old west. When the sixth gun (also the most powerful) is found by a young girl, dark forces awaken to kill her and take the gun. Only a self-serving gunslinger can help to save the girl.

The Blacklist (Drama): The show focuses on the world's most wanted criminal, who has suddenly turned himself in to the FBI. His condition is that he will only work with a specific, young FBI agent with no obvious relationship to the criminal.

Girlfriend in a Coma (Comedy): A dark comedy focusing on a 34-year-old woman who wakes up from a nearly two-decade coma to find out she has a 17-year-old daughter.

DJ Nash (Comedy): Set in the 1980s when a boy deals with his idolized blind father and newly immature mother following the parents' divorce.

Holding Patterns (Comedy): A multi-camera comedy about a group of friends whose lives change after they all survive a plane crash.
