Lindsay Lohan's film The Canyons was rejected by the South by Southwest Film Festival, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film was written by Bret Easton Ellis and directed by Paul Schrader. The erotic thriller features a lot of nudity, including from Lohan. A source said the film was rejected for "quality issues".
The source added: "It's got an ugliness and a deadness to it."
Producer Braxton Pope says that the filmmakers are still waiting on word from the festival.
