A modern retelling of Oliver Twist..
The Hollywood Reporter reports that CBS Films has picked up the rights to Olivia Twisted.
The story is a modern-day retelling of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist. The picture was written by Michael Roberts. The story features a female version of Oliver, an adult, who is in control of a band of criminal street urchins who find themselves in the middle of a gang war after a kidnapping job goes bad.
Ashley Greene was previously attached to play the lead, but it is unknown if this is still the case. Michael De Luca and Alissa Phillips are attached to produce.
