[Movies] Evil Dead and The Lords of Salem Get Official Ratings

Shock Till You Drop reports that both Evil Dead and The Lords of Salem have been given R ratings by the MPAA.
Evil Dead was previously given an NC-17, but director Fede Alvarez made the cuts necessary to get it down to R. It's almost a given that an unrated cut will be released on home video. It's R for "strong bloody violence and gore, some sexual content and language." The film will be released on April 12.
Rob Zombie's The Lords of Salem was rated R for "disturbing violent and sexual content, graphic nudity, language and some drug use." It will be out on April 26.
