[TV] Dracula Series Recruits Game of Thrones and Merlin Alumni

NBC series casts its Renfield and Lucy...
NBC has drawn from two genre series for its take on the most famous vampire of them all. TV Line reports that Nonso Anozie (Game of Thrones) and Katie McGrath (Merlin) will play Renfield and Lucy, respectively, in the series.
The descriptions for the two characters are more or less similar to the original characters; Renfield is described as "fiercely loyal confidante of Dracula's alter ego, Alan Grayson" and "the keeper of Dracula's deepest and darkest secrets and the stabilizing force that allows his two personas to successfully coexist." Meanwhile, Lucy is Mina Murray's best friend and "aristocratic London's sexy, social butterfly who has a penchant for gossip, flirting and all things glamorous."
Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Jessica De Gouw play Dracula and Mina, respectively. The show's start date is not yet known.
