Comic book adaptation not heading to TV...
Showtime has passed on an adaptation of the Image comic book Chew. The network was reportedly "going back and forth" on the series a couple of weeks ago according to artist Rob Guillory, but writer John Layman posted today to his Twitter:
There will not be a CHEW TV series on Showtime.
The comic series focused on Tony Chu, a "cibopath" with the supernatural ability to gain a psychic impression of an object by eating it. Ken Leung (LOST) had been in discussions for the role.
