Ron Moore says that TRON was nearly a character in Wreck-It Ralph. The director of the first film spoke with ComingSoon.net and said that while it didn't end up happening, he would like to see the character from the 1982 Disney film show up in the sequel.
"I can't specifically remember why that didn't happen," Moore said. "Of course, with a sequel, I'm hoping that we can find a way to see Tron himself in that movie."
Bruce Boxleitner, who played TRON in the both films, is also portraying him in the animated series TRON: Uprising.
