No arbitration over claims of a gay come-on by Travolta...
A male cruise ship employee's lawsuit against John Travolta claiming that he made a pass at the employee is headed to open court. TMZ reports that a federal judge shot down an argument by Travolta's attorneys that his ticket for a 2009 Royal Caribbean cruise liner included an agreement to settle all disputes between a passenger and the company in arbitration. The judge said that there is no evidence that the plaintiff, Fabian Zanzi, is bound by the agreement between Travolta and the cruise line.
Zanzi filed the suit last June, claiming that Travolta exposed his genitals in his stateroom and forcibly embraced Zanzi after asking for a neck massage. The only way for Travolta to keep this from going to trial now is a settlement, which may get Zanzi a higher price since there is no chance of arbitration now.
