- According to Deadline, Marvel has cast Chris Pratt (Moneyball, Zero Dark Thirty, Five Year Engagement) for the lead in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. He will play the role of Starlord, the Guardians leader, who is the offspring of a human mother and an alien father.
