[Movies] Rooney Mara Says Daniel Craig Will Not Be Written Out Of The Girl Who Played With Fire
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.06.2013

MTV spoke with Rooney Mara (while promoting Side Effects at the New York premiere) and she revealed that Daniel Craig's character Mikael Blomkvist will not be written out of The Girl Who Played With Fire.

She said: "I've been talking a lot with ['Dragon Tattoo' director David Fincher] about the sequel, and I don't know where that rumor was started but it would never be a possibility. He wouldn't be written out.

She said that his role in the sequel is secure even if Fincher doesn't return to direct. She added: "I would hope that he would. But no matter what, he'll definitely have some sort of involvement."
