The husband and wife team ready three projects...
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Melissa McCarthy and her husband/creative partner Ben Falcone are developing three new projects through company, On the Day.
The pair will write the original comedy Michelle Darnell alongside Steve Mallory. There are no plot details as of yet, but McCarthy is planning to star in the film set up at Universal.
Cousin Irv From Mars is another project they have lined up at Universal based on the upcoming book by Bruce Eric Kaplan. Kaplan is also adapting the screenplay with Falcone and McCarthy. The story follows the adventures of a boy and his cousin Irv who is from Mars.
On the Day will also produce an adaptation of Just Do It: How One Couple Turned Off the TV and Turned On Their Sex Lives for 101 Days (No Excuses!) by author Douglas Brown. Michael Aguilar is also set to produce the movie as well.
