Variety reports Ellen Page will make her directorial debut for a new movie Miss Stevens with Anna Faris set to star in the lead role.
Julia Hart wrote the screenplay for the movie. The story follows a high school teacher (played by Faris) who goes on a cross-country trip to a drama competition.
The movie will be produced by Gary Gilbert and Jordan Horowitz of Gilbert Films and Doug Wald of Anonymous Content. Trevor Adley and Nicole Romano are executive producing.
