[Movies] Joel McHale and Robin Williams to Star in A Friggin' Christmas Miracle

Joel McHale, Robin Williams and Lauren Graham will star in a new holiday comedy film. THR reports that the trio will star in A Friggin' Christmas Miracle which will be directed by Tristram Shapeero (Community, Veep, Parks and Recreation) in his feature film directorial debut. The script came form Phil Johnston (Wreck-It Ralph).

McHale and Graham play married couple Boyd and Luann Mitchler in the film, who are forced to spend the holidays with Boyd's father (Williams) and his crazy extended family. When Boyd realizes that he forgot to bring gifts for his son he, his father and his younger brother have to jump in a car and make the eight-hour round trip drive before Christmas morning. Production will begin next month in Atlanta.
