The show is beating out even the biggest network hits...
AMC's The Walking Dead came back with a series high in viewers. TV Line reports that the mid-season premiere drew 12.3 million total viewers and 7.7 million viewers in the 18 - 49 demographic. That demo number is 6% higher than the show's previous best and 44% higher than season two's midseason premiere.
At this point, the 18 - 49 viewership is beating even broadcast network's biggest hits like Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men and NCIS. Meanwhile, The Talking Dead--the series' post-episode live discussion show--drew 4.1 million viewers with Kevin Smith and Steven Yeun (Glenn).
