THR reports that Warner Horizon is developing a TV series based on The Wizard of Oz. Titled Red Brick Road, the series details are being kept quiet but insiders describe it conceptually as "a continuation of the Wizard of Oz story but told in a Game of Thrones fashion, filled with politics, intrigue and violence."
The show has no connection to the upcoming Disney Oz prequel Oz, the Great and Powerful.
