[Movies] Batman Reboot Could Be Delayed Even Further
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 02.12.2013

We've already heard reports that DC's planned reboot of the Batman franchise could be delayed so that Justice League can reintroduce the character. Now, Batman on Film reports that it could be delayed even further. The site notes that with Justice League getting a page one rewrite the Batman film could well be delayed further and spoke with a source who said that Warner Bros. may even push it out to after the Man of Steel trilogy of the first film does well.

"If Superman is huge, then they've bought themselves some time and will have a franchise to hang their hat on for seven, eight years," said the source. "The need for Batman won't be as great, and [the reboot] of that franchise can wait until the Superman trilogy is done."

What do you think: good idea or bad?
