Not Puck...
As we learned yesterday, Peter Dinklage has joined the cast of Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past. However, it appears that speculation of him playing Alpha Flight member Puck were premature, as Variety reports that he will play the main villain in the film.
The villains in the "Days of Future Past" storyline that the film is inspired by included Senator Robert Kelly (played by Bruce Davison and killed in X-Men), Sentinel Alpha 3 and five members of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants: Mystique, Destiny, Pyro, Avalanche and the Blob. Only Sentinel Alpha, Destiny (a female character) and Avalanche have not been previously depicted in the X-Men films; it would be likely that Dinklage is playing a new character or a character adapted to this storyline.
The movie also stars Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore and opens on July 18th, 2014;
