[Movies] Peter Dinklage's X-Men: Days of Future Past Role Revealed?
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 02.15.2013

As we have learned over the past couple of days, Peter Dinklage is playing the villain in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Now, MTV News reports that a source close to the production has told them that Dinklage will be playing Bolivar Trask, the creator of the Sentinels in the X-Men: First Class sequel.

The character, who was introduced in Uncanny X-Men #14 in 1965, was an an inventor and anthropologist who created Sentinels in response to the rise of mutants in society. Trask had two children who were mutants; one was Larry Trask, who was a precognitive and had his powers suppressed by Trask while the other, Tanya, could travel through time. Fox has yet to confirm the rumor.

The movie also stars Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore and opens on July 18th, 2014.
