According to TV Line, Rachelle Lefevre (The Twilight Saga) has joined the cast of the upcoming Stephen King television adaptation Under the Dome. The show will debut on June 24th on CBS, and tells the story of Chester's Mill, a small town in Maine, which is cut off from the rest of the world by an invisible dome. With air, food and patience dwindling, societal norms within this town begin to break down.
Lefevre will play Julia Shumway, the owner of Chester's Mill's newspaper. Colin Ford, Aisha Hinds, Alex Koch, Natalie Martinez, Jolene Purdy, Britt Robertson, Mike Vogel, Dean Norris and Nicholas Strong are also set for the show, which has been picked up for a 13-episode first season.
