[Movies] Guardians of the Galaxy Writers Say The Film Is In Good Hands
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.22.2013

Superhero Hype reports that Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, the two writers who revived Guardians of the Galaxy in 2008 with the team that will be in the 2014 Marvel Studios film, have claimed it is in good hands with director James Gunn.

Gunn is currently in London preparing to shoot the film and tweeted ysterday that he met with them about the film.

Lanning tweeted: "Great day with @JamesGunn, thanks matey. Guardians are in safe hands! Awesome, this film will rock!"

The only cast member officially announced is Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation) as Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord. Jason Momoa has been rumored for Drax the Destroyer. The rest of the roster is said to include Groot, Rocket Raccoon and Gamora.
