[Gossip] Security Increased For Oscar Ceremony Tonight

Due to recent gun violence...
The Los Angeles Police Department is being extra-careful with the Oscars tonight. TMZ reports that while the LAPD is officially saying that they are "always vigilant" at the Oscar ceremony, multiple sources within law enforcement claim that the security is staying tighter than normal because of the recent incidents of gun violence across the country.
One high-ranking source in the department noted, "When someone from the city gets fired, the city manager of the department calls because they're scared the person who was fired will go postal...People are going crazy with fear."
The LAPD has given a private security company called Security Industry Specialists a packet of information on potential stalkers of those attending the ceremony with pictures and more.
