Bloody Disgusting reports that James McAvoy (X-Men: First Class) could take the lead in Relativity's remake of The Crow.
He would play Eric Draven, a man who is brutally murdered and comes back to life as an undead avenger of his and his fiancee's murder. It's unknown if his role in X-Men: Days of Future Past would affect his ability to star in the film.
It is an adaptation of James o'Barr's comic from 1989. F. Javier Gutierrez will direct from a screenplay from Jesse Wigutow.
Brandon Lee starred in the first 1994 film, which was directed by Alex Proyas.
