[TV] Arrested Development Will Only Have One Season On Netflix
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.26.2013

While talking about the success of House of Cards, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said that Arrested Development will likely only run for one season on Netflix.

He said: "We don't anticipate being able to do season five, six and seven" and we have less of a stake in it. So it's really a fantastic one-off which is coming together incredibly. Think of it as a non-repeatable amazing [sic] whereas the other things that we're doing [are] trying to figure out a real mechanism where we can build shows and develop franchises over the long term."

The series will debut fourteen new episodes on Netflix in May.

Netflix also has new original programs coming like Eli Roth's Hemlock Grove and season two of Lilyhammer.
