[Gossip] Lindsay Lohan's Lawyer Angers Judge With New Letter
Posted by AJ Grey on 02.26.2013

Lindsay Lohan's lawyer is really doing a great job of sabotaging her chances. TMZ says that Mark Heller attached a letter that he sent to the Santa Monica and L.A. City Attorneys in legal documents filed with the court. According to sources with the prosecution, the letter angered the judge as it looks like an attempt to influence the court inappropriately.

The latter is addresssed to prosecutors Terry White and Spencer Hart and says, "...we, as a team, [can] help 'fix' Lindsay Lohan." The letter blames Lindsay's problems on her family troubles and says that she can't be judged "without considering the pain, torment and confusion which Lindsay has experienced and has been afflicted with."

Heller tries to talk the prosecutor (and thus, since it was sent to the court, the judge) out of jail time by saying, "Lindsay will gladly be participating in intensive psychotherapy, submitting herself to regular screenings and contributing her time to the production of public service messages." He also suggested that Lindsay speak at schools, hospitals and other venues "where she may provide inspirational talks."

Heller also noted he's looking at creating a "Lindsay Lohan foundation" that would provide a non-profit program to benefit young people. No mention of how it would be funded, though.
