According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Cooper (Adaptation, The Muppets, The Town) will play the role of Norman Osborn in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. THR notes the following in their report…
"It's unclear whether Cooper will make his villainous turn in this film or in a sequel. Osborn starts out as a mentor to the superhero before turning bad."
Cooper's Norman Osborn joins Dane DeHaan as Norman's son Harry Osborn, Jamie Foxx's Electro, and Paul Giamatti's Rhino as villains in the film.
