She says the guy's claims are BS...
A shop owner has accused Weeds and RED star Mary-Louise Parker of using a homobphobic slur in reference to hom and threatening his life, both of which she denies doing. TMZ got Parker's side of the story straight from her rep, who says that she accompanied a friend into an antique shop in Saugerties, New York in January 2nd so that the friend could get a check she was owed for the shop owner selling one of her purses. Parker's rep says that the owner, Daniel Seldin, refused to pay Parker's friend and an argument followed. The owner tried to take advantage and accuse Parker of threatening his life; the rep says Parker had nothing to do with the argument, noting that as soon as she saw that she was being targeted, she left.
Parker's rep also notes that anyone who knows her knows that she would never use a homphobic word.
Seldin filed a police report claiming that Parker said during the altercation, "Do you want to wake up tomorrow? I'll make one phone call," and called him a "fag." Seldin insists that his version is accurate and said he has paid Parker's friend her money. He added, "I felt totally berated and violated."
