Disney's Cars spin-off...
IGN reports that Dane Cook has replaced Jon Cryer as the voice of Dusty in Disney's 3D animated film Planes, the spin-off of Pixar's Cars.
Director Klay Hall said: "Dane Cook brings unmatched charisma and brilliant comedic timing and instincts to the character. He gives Dusty a great edge."
Cryer had previously done press for the film, including an appearance at D23 on August 2011 where he talked about his experience in the recording booth over two years in ten sessions. The film was originally supposed to be a direct-to-video spinoff of Cars. It will instead be released theatrically on August 9 through Disney's Disneytoon Studios, not Pixar.
