[Gossip] Former Voice of Elmo Says The Men Accusing Him of Sexual Abuse Have No Right to Sue

The former voice of Elmo says that the three men who have accused him of having sex with them when they were minors have no right to sue him. TMZ reports that lawyers for Kevin Clash have filed a motion to dismiss the three lawsuits filed against him due to the statute of limitations expiring.
As previously reported, Clash left Sesame Street after he was accused by Cecil Singleton and two other unidentified men of having sex with them when they were underage. Clash's motion notes that the statute of limitations on the crimes that he is being accused of is six years and that the alleged crimes happened over ten years ago.
The accusers claim they only recently became aware of the mental and psychological damage that was done, which is why they took so long to sue. Clash is seeking a dismissal in all cases.
