Steven Spielberg is working on the late Stanley Kubrick's script about Napoleon. Spielberg told French TV network Canal+ (via IGN0 that he is working on the script in order to turn it into a miniseries.
The script was originally written by Kubrick in 1961 and relied on an enormous amount of research on the famed French leader, but the film got too expensive and was canned despite being in the pre-production. Oskar Werner and Audrey Hepburn had been in talks to star.
