[TV] Ratings: Big Bang Theory and Community Up This Week
Posted by Joseph Lee on 03.08.2013
Even against American Idol...
Both The Big Bang Theory and Community were up last night, with Community getting its best ratings since its season premiere. Two and a Half Men was also up and managed to beat American Idol in their common half-hour for the first time. The 90 minute episode of Idol revealed the top ten singers. It was up from last week in viewers but dropped in the demographic. Glee had better numbers than its last episode three weeks ago. FOX programming this week ran a half-hour longer due to Idol and an hour-long episode of Glee.
CBS won with 12.9 million viewers and an 8.0 rating/13 share in households. It was followed by FOX (10.5 million, 6.4/10 from 8 to 10:30 (from 8 to 10, it was 11.6 million and 7.0/11), ABC (3.9 million, 2.7/4), NBC (3 million, 2.0/3) and The CW (906,000, 0.6/1).
In the adults 18-49 demographic, FOX won with a 3.1 rating (3.3 from 8 to 10), CBS (3.0), ABC (1.1), NBC (1.1) and the CW (0.3).
