Coming Soon reports that Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros Pictures have announced that Christopher Nolan's Interstellar will be co-produced and distributed by both studios. Paramount will handle domestic and Warner Bros will handle international. It will be released on November 7, 2014 in theaters and IMAX.
The film is directed by Nolan from a script by Jonathan Nolan. It will be produced by Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan of Syncopy Films and Lynda Obst of Lynda Obst Productions. Kip Thorne will executive produce.
All that is known about the story is that it will feature a "heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding."
