[Movies] US Release Date Set For Maniac Remake

Shock Till You Drop reports that IFC has set a US release date for Franck Khalfoun's remake of Maniac. The film stars Elijah Wood and will be released on a limited theatrical release and VOD on June 21. The film is written and produced by Alexandre Aja and Gregory Levasseur.
Here's a synopsis: Frank, a man haunted by seedy memories of his promiscuous mother, works in a mannequin shop by day and stalks 'n kills women by night. Things take a turn in his life when he meets a beautiful photographer (Nora Arnezeder).
