[Movies] Nicolas Cage Says He Won't Play Ghost Rider Again

Nicolas Cage is done being Johnny Blaze. Cage told Collider that he has no real desire to return to the Ghost Rider franchise now that he's played the character twice. Don't think that a potential sequel was too unlikely, either; despite low ratings from critics and fans, it made $132 million worldwide in theaters from a $47 million budget.
"It's possible, but it won't be with me," Cage told the site. "I've said what I have to say. I don't want to say never... anything's possible. But I doubt, highly, that I would be in a third installment of that."
Sony/Columbia, who own the film rights to the character, could either reboot the franchise or move the franchise onto Danny Ketch, Johnny's successor in the comics.
