[Gossip] Prosecutors No Longer Negotiating With Lindsay Lohan
Posted by Joseph Lee on 03.14.2013

TMZ reports that prosecutors have ended plea negotiations with Lindsay Lohan and are preparing for the trial, which begins Monday.

Negotiations broke down because Lohan will not accept any punishment for lying to police after her car accident last June. She told police she was not driving the Porsche that crashed into a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway but she was.

Her lawyer, Mark Heller, didn't have her in agreement when he tried to make a deal, which meant that a plea bargain was unlikely from the beginning. The only chance of avoiding trial now and that's if Heller enters a plea on Monday with everyone in court, but Lohan may not allow it.

In addition to this crime, she could also face months in jail for violating her probation in the jewelry theft case.
