New York governor Andrew Cuomo has revealed that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be the biggest film production in the history of New York City. Cuomo revealed the news in AM New York today. The film will be the first Spider-Man film shot entirely in the city; the Raimi films as well as the first Amazing Spider-Man shot some exteriors and locations in the city but did other filming elsewhere.
The shoot began in New York City last month and is scheduled for 150 days. It will release on May 2nd, 2014.
