[Movies] Tom Hooper Could Direct Freddie Mercury Biopic

From Les Mis to Queen...
Deadline reports that Tom Hooper (The King's Speech) is in talks to possibly direct the Freddie Mercury biopic, which is based on script by Peter Morgan and would star Sacha Baron Cohen as Mercury. Cohen and Hooper previously worked together on Les Miserables, which was nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
The film is being put together by Sony Pictures and GK Films. There is no formal offer to Hooper at the moment but they have been talking about it. Graham King and Tim Headington are producing with Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal from Queen Films.
