Tom Cruise is interested in playing the lead role in the film version of The Man From U.N.C.L.E.. Deadline reports that Cruise is circling the role of Napoleon Solo in the film, which will be directed by Guy Ritchie.
The site adds that Cruise is also coming back for a sequel to Jack Reacher. The $60 million film was viewed as a relative disappointment domestically but made a combined worldwide total of $215 million and Warner Bros. was happy enough with that to complete a deal for him to come back in a second film.
