The Biggest Loser finale was up...
The spring premiere of Dancing with the Stars improved from its fall debut, rising by 24% in the demographic and 19% in viewers for a win for ABC. The premiere also helped Castle get its biggest audience of the season. Meanwhile, the season finale of The Biggest Loser was up from last year and the finale for Deception was also up. CBS' comedies and The Following were down, but The CW's The Carrie Diaries was up in adults 18-34 and 18-49 for The CW.
ABC won with 14.9 million viewers and a 9.5 rating/15 share in households for the night, up 1.4 million from when the Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars premiered in September. It was followed by CBS (8 million, 5.1/8), FOX (7.2 million, 4.4/7), NBC (6.1 million, 3.7/6) and The CW (775,000, 0.5/1).
In the adults 18-49 demographic, NBC won again with a 2.8 rating, followed by CBS (2.4), FOX (2.2), NBC (2.2) and The CW (0.3).
