Gareth Edwards' Godzilla is now filming in Vancouver, and the director himself has posted a message to fans from the set.
The Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. It is based on a screenplay by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont and Dave Callaham.
Legendary's Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Alex Garcia and Patricia Whitcher are executive producers with Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira.
It will be released on May 16, 2014, most likely in 3D.
