Marc Webb has posted another image for The Amazing Spider-Man on his Twitter. It is a crate from Oscorp Industries. Webb wrote: "There are chainz in there."
It's possible that the box is tied to the reveal that the film will include the Marvel Universe's Ravencroft Institute for the Criminally Insane. The film will be released on May 2.
Here's a synopsis: The sequel finds Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) with life busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away – but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
The film also stars Shailene Woodley, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, Sally Field and Chris Cooper.
